Spring trekking season is considered to be Cool/Warm and Fresh, as the winter season is almost at its end you can experience warm weather while you are trekking in the day light while the weather would still be cold in the night. As the weather starts to warm up, rhododendrons starts to bloom, mustard fields color the farmlands and the forest begins to come more alive. The weather is dry, with low to no chances of rainfall and snow, so the views of the Himalayas are clearer in the morning and at night time but bit unclear in the evening. The temperature will be warmer and comfortable at higher altitudes as from may the temperature starts to rise a lot.

This is the season of the rain where monsoon starts in Nepal. This season usually starts from mid of the july and lasts till mid of September. If you do want to trek in this season then do consider on which area you are traveling to, as monsoon rains brings landslides to some areas in the hills depending upon the location. The weather is hot and wet. Rainfalls occur frequently for limited number of hours per day. Trails are slippery and you might also face leeches problem in this season. Trekking can be done but it would be bit difficult compared to spring and fall. But on the bright side you will find less trekkers on the trail, and you will get to experience some of the most exotic views of the lush green jungles, blooming flowers and some of the most beautiful Himalayan scenery when the rain stops and the skies are fresh and clear. We do recommend you to try out Mustang and Dolpo region, as the area has no to less amount of rainfall and the environment is mostly dry.
